There is a huge range of equipment available to help with these and many other problems you might encounter. However, it can sometimes be difficult and confusing finding the right solution for you.

Most companies, including us, offer a no obligation demonstration in your own home. This enables you to see for certain whether the equipment works in your individual situation. If, however, you do not like the idea of a demonstration in your own home there is an alternative.

Independent Living Centres (ILCs) are located throughout the country and provide impartial advice on all sorts of equipment including bath lifts, grab rails, and pillow lifts. In many instances you can actually try out the equipment at these Centres, assisted by fully trained staff.

To find your nearest Independent Living Centre click on the appropriate UK area. It is advisable to telephone before visiting to ensure that the Centre is going to be open as some have restricted opening hours.
